Alarie Kirk, an artist stuck in a dead-end job, is sucked into her drawing tablet and finds herself in the world of her sci-fi webcomic: Cosmocats. Here she helps the feline department heads keep their space colony thriving as they try to figure out how to send her home. But what’s this? Sabotage? It seems that someone wants Capt. Nelson to give up the FFSC Yarnball. 

The game is a 2D life simulation (Animal Crossing-type game), with missions from the cats being like mini-games. Each of the seven departments gives a different kind of mission, and as you progress in the game, the missions get more challenging. 

This album contains four of the departments: the Farming Department (Wistful Mistin'), Cargo Transportation (Delivery!), Culinary Operations (Meal Rush), and Space Excursions (Captain's Orders). The music is supposed to show both the personality of the heads and the character of the missions.

"Treacherous Space" is the villain theme, and “Cosmocats” is the main theme. "Quips and Quirks" is the background track for dialogue, and is meant to show the weird yet wonderful nature of those crazy cats.
